“Comfy convenient place”

Comfy bed and blankets, good shower, nice staff. Air conditioning was good. I think this area could get loud outside sometimes (but it was ok the one night I was there) - however, AC had a fan setting that made a nice sound to cover any noise. I liked the kitchen facility and free coffee, plenty of shelves in room, hair dryer, washcloth and towels. Great location near many places to eat and grocery store.

The hostal is a functional and inexpensive alternative to a hotel. There are no extra frills as you may have in a hotel, but it has the basic needs a traveler requires. There is no breakfast is with this hostal. The property had a great location as it was within 15 minutes walking to Puerta del Sol. The single room had many shelves on the walls of the room that was great for storing and organizing traveling items. The room had a nice bathroom, clean and functional. There was a group room where there was free coffee and tea 24 hours a day, plus a microwave where you could warm up food. You could prepare meals in this room. The hostal is located in a large building. Two floors of the building were the hostal. It looked like the other floors were private residences. There was an elevator in the building.

The best hostal I have been. Good room, bed confy, bathroom ok. Location top. Noisy place, bit you hear nothing in the room. Coffee 24 hours. Staff superbe. They repaired my suitcase. Not cheap, bur quality price good. Loved the place and would come back!

Located very close to the Gran Via, we could explore the city's main attractions by walking. The room is not large but the spaces are well organised for a comfortable stay. The room and the common area with coffee and fridge (very convenient) were all super clean. The hosts are very friendly and the possibility to leave your luggage before check in and after check out is very useful. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to stay close to the city center paying a reasonable price.

Location is excellent. The bed is very comfortable. The room had desk, stools, chairs, multiple shelving both in main room and bathroom, large
closet for any needs. The small balcony was a great bonus. The elevator was great. Was a quiet corner. No noise.

“Perfect and reasonably-priced stay in central Madrid -- will come again!” There's nothing to say here! Other people comment about the noise, but I slept here on a Tuesday night and it was quiet, perhaps it's worse on the weekend- The convenience, the cleanliness, the cute dining room where you can get free tea and coffee and make your own breakfast, and the fact that everything worked.
